Manifestation of Lifestyles

Encyclopedia - Lifestyles the concept and its implications are closely connected to the values associated with extreme individualism, corporate capitalism, and an open market, preferably one that is global in its reach. While most people would generally consider lifestyle to be a neutral or amoral concept, others, on looking more closely, see it as having an immoral side. Discussions of lifestyle generally exclude any thoughts of justice, respect for human rights, or fairness.

In Terms Of Our Understanding - Lifestyles talk about anything and everything. Eventhough it's quite general but life is awesome & we share life. In conscious or not, everyone has a lifestyle. With regard to the perspective, lifestyle referred solely to the specific characteristics or qualities in life a certain way by all parties whether individuals, countries, or an entire culture. Hopefully together with you accompanied by not too high expectations either on us or on this blog then, please stay and WELCOME

Miang kam

by Ponmalar
A Thailand food I tried, Miang kam.

Miang kam is a traditional food snack from Thailand and Laos. It was introduced to the Siamese court of king Rama V by Queen Dara Rasamee.

Miang lam means 'one bite wrap', from Miang (food wrapped with leaves)
and kham ( a bite).

In Thailand, Miang kam is usually eaten with family and friends. It is also popular in the central region of Thailand. The dish is mostly eaten during the raining season for it is then then the cha phlu leaves are abundantly available, as it grows new leaves and shoots.

Before wrapping the filled leaves are topped with palm syrup or sugar cane syrup which often has been cooked with lemongrass, galangal, ginger and fish sauce.

Miang kam, mostly consist of raw fresh piper sarmentosum in Malay 'Daun Kadok' leaves that are filled with roasted coconut shavings and the following main ingredients chopped or cut into small pieces shallots, fresh red or green bird's eye chili peppers, ginger, garlic, lime, unsalted peanuts or cashew nuts, small dried shrimps and sour green mango. It is a very good snack to have with family and friends. And its tastes awesome. Where you can taste all in one bite.
