once, there lived a king who had servants. One of the servants was very handsome while the other was very ugly. One day, the king decided to test both of them.
The king told the ugly servant that the handsome servant had accused him of some misdeed. The ugly servant replied that he had not done anything wrong, and that there must have been some misunderstanding. The king summoned the handsome servant and told him that the ugly servant had accused him of committing an office. The servant immediately lost his temper and claimed that the other servant was lying.
The king was pleased with the ugly servants reaction and appointed the ugly servant as his courtier.
The king had many courtiers, and one day , he decided to test their loyalty.
He gathered all of them and ordered each one in turn to break a priceless vase that he owned.He became increasingly frustrated as none of them would obey his command.Then,it came to the ugly servants turn.He obeyed the kings orders without any hesitation.
The king,impressed with the ugly servant promoted him to the position of Chief Minister.By these two experiences,the king learned that all that glitters is not good .
