If Hang Tuah, our legendary warrior, was transported from the 15th century to the present new millenium age, he would have the shock of his life.
Imagine the bewildered and lost Mr Tuah standing right in front one of the tallest building in the world- Petronas Twin Towers. He might have mistaken those tall structures for the part of a ' golden bridge' leading to a magical mountain. Just like the case with his Sultan whom once had been directed to build a bridge in order to marry the outrageously demanding Princess of Gunung Ledang.
Once inside the towers, our hero wouldn't be able to resist checking out various electrical appliances including television and smartphones. They are everywhere. Only then, may he come face with more familiar sights. The scenes on those magical boxes come alive with the images of people he is familiar with. The villages, the buildings and even the tools and instruments they use are nothing unusual to him.
Of course, our Hang Tuah would never know that he was actually watching one of those old and classic Malay movies being screened on television. He might even think that the images he had just seen were real and start to look around for them.
Nah! Cut the jokes. We all knew that Hang Tuah won't come back and he is only can be in our imagination. So let's always inspire him.
