Trip to Malacca

by JiaShah

As a student, semester break is the best part. After surviving the semester, all I want to do is enjoy my holiday. So, during this semester break I went to Malacca with Baiti's family. I just thought it would be nice to share a few of my holiday moments.

I follow Baiti and family trip to Malacca. About 2 hours away from Kuala Lumpur, to spend some quality time with her family. Malacca is a historic, coastal state in Malaysia with a colorful past. Malacca was ruled by a Sultanate and was taken over by the Japanese during various points of history.

As a result, Malacca has got several historic sites from different eras, which attracts a lot of tourists. Then, after walking around for sometime we settled on eating at a place 'Asam Pedas'. The food was tasty and affordable. After resting for night, we got up the next day and had a delicious breakfast of Roti Canai and tea.

Our first main stop was A Famosa, which is an old Portuguese fortress. From there, we walked to the Dutch Square. After that, we went to Menara Taming Sari and the last we went to the Maritime Museum. After taking a tour at the Maritime Museum, we went to Melaka River to take a cruise.

By the time, we crossed the river, it was late evening. We were tired and hungry from all the walking, so we decided to grab a bite at a nearby jetty of the cruise. After taking several photos, we headed back to the mainland.

By the time, we returned back to our hotel. After showered, rested and refreshed we off to Jonker Walk. It almost midnight, my foot were hurting from all the walking. When arrived at our hotel, I went to sleep immediately.  So, were to checkout at the noon on the next day, all of us got up early to visit Pantai Klebang and Kuih Kerian Antarabangsa as the last attraction.

All in all, it was a fun trip with lots of photo opportunities and memories. Thanks to Baiti and family because bring me there and join the trip. For me, Malacca is best place to visit and great way to explore historic Malaysia.

If you went for a walk in the village in the morning, the scenic beauty of the village road was quite. While walking down, can hear different birds singing among big trees and the night air was another beautiful. The moonlight filled with the entire village.

So, today my activity in hometown is accompanied my mother went to market to buy some groceries. When we arrived at the market, we could not find a place to park the car. We wanted patiently for about ten minutes before someone vacated a parking space and we moved in.

Coming to the market, so we made our way buying vegetables, meat, fish, noodles, spice sand other food stuffs. The bags got heavier and heavier, the crowd got thicker and thicker. The noise and heat was overwhelming.

As we had nearly done all shopping, I told my mother that I would wait for her at the car. I could not stand being hundreds of aggressive shoppers. I lugged the bags wearily to the car and breathed a sign of relief when I reached it.

The air smelled sweet and cool. I was glad to be outside , about fifteen minutes later my mother emerged from market. She look exhausted the we put the groceries in the boot, got into car and drive of with the air conditioner at full blast.

My Hometown

by JiaShah

For the people of the cities and town, village is a very beautiful place. After living of hectic and stressful life in city, everybody needs to take a break to relax the mind and body. One of the ideal places to relax is our hometown.

Rest, relax. I look forward to my holiday breaks as a way to refresh mentality, physically and spiritually. I look forward to spending time with my families, staying at home adjusting to the routine of no alarm clocks, no papers and no lessons.

The name of my hometown (home) is Kampung Bintang and it is located in the 10km from Bandar Temerloh. So, here I wanna talk about the special in my hometown. Temerloh is the home of Patin Fish, one of the most prized fresh water fishes in Malaysia.

'My kampung' Temerloh holds a special place, it is the place where I was born.Temerloh town sits at the confluence of the Pahang and Semantan rivers, which is why it is rich with fresh water fish such as Patin, jelawat, baung, lampan, talapia and kenai.

As the home of the Patin Fish, Temerloh have special dishes that bring out the best taste of the fish. The dishes is Ikan Patin 'masak tempoyak' and than Ikan Patin asam rebus. Favourite eating palce for Ikan Patin dishes is at jetty, not far from the Temerloh terminal bus.

The places is always crowded during luch time, filled by locals and also travallers. The Patin fishes are mostly of the 'patin tempoyak'. Everyone should try the Ikan Patin dishes, it is really delicious. Well, that is about Temerloh, my hometown and the home of Patin Fish.

Love, Dog

by Ponmalar

As a long - time dog lover and first time dog parent, there are tons of questions swirling in my head about what my dog’s thinking, dreaming and barking. We already know that our pups loves us. There is no doubt about that. You can see it in their eyes. You can see it in their smile. And you can understand in their tail wags.

I think that having a dog is a good idea because dogs can make very faithful friends. A dog will serve as a companion when you are an only child. In such situations, a dog can be a play-mate and a source of comfort.

Having guard dogs will make it safer for the husband. If they are properly trained, they will take care of the house as they will bark and alert the owners if they are any strangers lurking about.

Even toy-dogs which are smaller in size will alert the household if anything unusual occur. They will bark and the owner will made aware of strange events.

Owning dogs will also teach the children to be more responsible as owning dogs means having to look after it. The dogs need to be fed, taken for walks and bathed at least once a week. Doing this will instill a sense of responsibility in the children and make them realise what commitment means. It will help children learn about caring for an animal and how to be kind and humane.

Therefore, I think that owning a pet is a good idea and if possible all children should experience what is like to have a pet.

Teenage Life

By changing your reaction to them you will find they modify or alter their behaviour. It is true! They may be silly make you feel uncomfortable, but they definitely wont be so nasty to you. In order to do so, pay attention their personally traits.

Once you’ve spotted them, then find the most practical and effective way to handle them. If you are unsuccessful, try to tackle them comfort them but end the confrontation on a positive note. You will be surprise to know later on that your efforts will pay off.

Teenage life is best part of our life even though it has a very hard times. Learn to sort it out in a positive way. So it could be a great opportunity for you to succeed in future life.

Disappointment of The Gunner Fans

by tot707

The disappointment was left for me personally is the failure of Arsene Wenger faced various of pressures burdened. Since eliminated from Champions League on round of 16 when make a balk to next level with the worst results. Arsenal club undergo mortification to other fans PL club.

Arsenal fans may predict too fast. Just a taste of Premier League coach who was charged with the task of leading players win over the defending the title are not defeated in away games, perhaps too quickly. Consecutive defeat by chance next match at away match against West Brom yesterday. In short, the game is a very disappointed game. Plus, more disappointing by hopes of all fans The Gunners are more confident current season that will might be better than the top three last season, we wanting more better standing or result compare to last season.

Unfortunately, the distances between expectations and reality is a disappointment.

With high expectations for the results, at last we went home without any points, at the worst way. Instead, with the hope is only 1 point, perhaps the disappointment would not be so tough. Apart from that, Arsene Wenger have a chance next month to prove himself as the official coach for the next match against M.City, yet met them again in the FA Cup semi-final soon.

Eventhough if it does happen, there are still had other the following weeks. As expectations are strong fans is still rigid. This is not the first time and certainly not for the last time for the Arsenal fans.

Hiddens sign of depression

by Ponmalar

At some point in our life we all will feel sad, moody or low from time to time, for few people they experience these feelings intensely, for long periods of time like weeks, months or even years. This condition sometimes can occur without any apparent reason. Depression is not just being in a low mood but depression is a serious condition that affects your physical and mental health. We could find ourselves depressed with some sign. Lets look out some hidden signs of depression.

The first sign is a person who is depressed will not talk much with the people around he or she. This kind of people will prefer more to be silent and alone rather than being around with people.

A person who is depressed will used to cancel the plans at last minute. Even if it a normal shopping or just a picnic. They just arrest themselves in their rooms.

These kind of people will always hide themselves in their phone. Like always being on line but don’t reply any messages. They just be on their phones to avoid the people around them.

And people so depressed will always be on their bed. They will find the difficulty to get out the bed cause they wants to avoid doing any other works rather than being on bed. Depressed people also will always over - compensate in their work. They don’t do any work with full of heart.

Forgetting meal for the whole day is a routine for people with depression. Cause they feel over stressed at their work so they just skip or forgot to eat that whole day.

Saying sorry for expressing an opinion even though its good is quite unusual right. Yes! depressed people will always say sorry for express their point of view even its good or bad.

Another awkward sign of depression is keeping the dark always. A person with depression used to avoid being in light. This person would choose to be in dark room rather than going out.

Depression isn’t just being very sad. Everyone of us should know the sign of depression at its in the early stage.

Positive effects of social media

by Ponmalar

Social  media is for everyone, but now its such a massive part of all our life, whether  we embrace or reject the notion, that it can no longer  be ignored. But are social networking sites such as Facebook,Twitter and Google a force for good or evil?As with most questions there are multiple angles  to approach this quandary from.

It has been never been easier to make friends than it is right now, mainly thanks to social media sites.Just a few decades ago it was pretty tough to connect with people, unless you were the overly outgoing type able to make conversation with anyone at party. The rise of mobile phones helped change this, connecting people in a new way ,but then social networks  sprang up and the whole consep of friendship changed once more and for ever.

Each of us spends a little too long talking about ourselves on social media which is normal. We are sharing our lives –the ups and downs, the twists and turn-with people we think care. They are generallydo care and will tell you so.They will listen to what you have say and will help you to solve it.
Our time is being stretched thinner by work and assignments but social media sites offer a chance to communicate in a speedy and efficient manner.Writing an update update will take 20 seconds, and with cross-posting over other social sites switched on,that update reaches everyone.

It isn’t just your inner circle of your inner circle of close friends and family members that social networking sites allow you to communicate with easily  and effectively.when it social networks, everyone is equal and regardless of location.Family living abroad can keep details of the latest happenings in your world as quickly as those who are living next door.Who is moved away can always keep in touch.

As previously mentioned, social networking sites can help find people you can share interest with. In a social its easier to find a common ground with others. This doesn’t require sharing information, and giving up certain amount of privacy in order to do so.Which is enough for some people to reject social networking outright. And actually contributes to and open society.

As with most things in life there are positive and negative sites of social media, both of which we must explore. My ultimate belief is that when done in moderation ,with checks and balances  on how younger people in particularly are using them, and with a firm grasp being kept in reality.

For one, they can form a bring bond in a master and pet relationship. Although their minds might be more primitive, animals have a similar thought process to humans'. They have feelings and emotions just like humans. The difference is that animals, mentality relies heavily on instinct, whereas a human's is more logical.

Banana Leaf Rice

For one, their sides are a tad bit fresher in terms of it's flavour. It does lean more towards their acidic side, which gives it that sort of appetizing appeal that most banana leaf rice restaurant looks. On top of that, their curry are pretty decent as well. Through not incredibly flavourful, it still does a pretty well job providing a sense of spice of aroma.

Service Is A Self Confidence

What is a selfie? Why people addicted to it? What it does to us? Always a selfie will be burning out when we logged in our social media. Lets check it out what is selfie and what it is all about.

Selfies has became a huge part of modern life. Selfie has transformed a simple self-portrait into something more interesting and has grown in huge way as a cultural importance. Its likely to be said as self-portrait, an identity, and a self confidence. A simple device which called as front camera in our smart phones has created a cultural trend that looks to set so fast.

There are also fearsome of these selfies. Which may ruin the life of teens of this era. These selfies are more to like sending someone a sexual self-portrait (nude selfies and videos) and this is most probably like sexualised image is sent. Teenagers of this century should understand what is a non-sexual self-portrait. Teenagers should avoid these kind of ethics.

This century the social media has became more creative and interesting where you can upload and share your self-portraits with others . This ethical gives a huge to young generation where they chase for likes, shares, and comments on social media. Most of the teens just post the most attractive and perfect selfies on social media. This culture makes young teens to compare their selves with another one who is getting more likes and comment.

Taking selfies in a good manner is one of the important part teenagers should learn. Because everyone should know that what goes online stays online. Once a person post a selfie or sent it to someone it is out of his/her control. This can make them to regret for their lifetime.

In the majority cases selfies are fun and harmless. Moreover, the smart people will make memory with this super-good self-portraits. In a nutshell, doing anything in excess isn’t good, but as long as you know to lead a balanced, then selfies are another awesome way to have fun in the digital age.

Make-Up !

I Never Use Any Type Of Make Up, I Do Not Know About It !

by Jia Shah

Make-up is a social harm for many women and such an intrinsit part of our life that we tend quite to forget how many time and effort we take to put it on, top it up and take it off - day after day.

Some ladies have never worn make-up in their life. Yet, others making a conscious decision to stop living it and still found more for their desire

For me who has never make-up had the benefits. I didn't used any type of make-up plus don't know how to apply it. Hence, without any type of it can lead me to save more time and yet, saving my money as well having more better skin than others. Furthermore, I think my skin is probably better for being exposed to fresh air.

I've never decide to wearing any make-up. I saw all these mainly women wearing it and knew that I do not want to do that.

Moreover, I'm quite confident with the way of my look. But I'm not say that wearing make-up will affect of self-confidence. It's depend of each individual to think differently about it based on their own reason. According to my perspective, I had more positive reactions especially in the morning. I'm such of look fresh enough and awake without need to put it on.

Otherwise, my opinions for advise be not try to wearing make-up and highly of recommend it. What can I tell, people out there are seem not too care if wearing make-up or not. You'll be suprised of many people are also choose to not wear any make-up.

"The Last Malay Album" from Malique - Album TKO: Pejamkan Mata have perfected trilogy Malay-language album by Malique Ibrahim. Before these, two albums has released for album OK (2008) and K.O The Mixtape (2009). Latest, after two albums before was released finally Malique produced new album that titled TKO: Pejamkan Mata and now has found his fans began last December.

It is a compilation album of songs that have been previously published by Malique and followed with three new songs of his creations.

The album refered as album 'goodbye' and also the final scene of the trilogy album Malay of Malique. From what has been told by rumours, Malique will be producing of English-language album at this year.

Album TKO: Pejamkan Mata, it's high-class by genre album of hip hop. It's have proven by Malique power of playing on words of build a story with poetry language make songs produced these album. Hence, TKO: Pejamkan Mata album is awesome.

11 songs was fit in it, there were also of each song had a magical by its own formula. It was playable with songs such Bukan Mudah, Teman Pengganti and Pejamkan Mata. Feel the rhythm of fast songs yet euphoria such as Salut, 2010 Masih Hip Hop, Musik Buatku High and Senyum.

None of the songs on this album that will be listener jumps. Malique present the spiritual of nourishment in the form of music that was filling the conscience. Thus, all fans should learn the content of the words excerpt poet by Malique in these to seek of meaning.

My opinion about the album of TKO: Pejamkan Mata is about him - Malique is the one who wrote of a driven by a knowledge, not empty words for flavoring rhythm. Enjoy TKO: Pejamkan Mata album!
